Compared with the industrial standard coating, the dielectric constant and loss factor of the coating are lower and the dielectric strength is higher. The bonded ND-Fe-B element is very fragile and another advantage of the Parylene coating is to improve the strength. Metal, magnetic, neodymium-iron-boron (ND-Fe-B) materials are susceptible to atmospheric humidity corrosion, but Parylene is extremely low in water permeability and protects components from corrosion.
